My brother's car shopping and is looking at !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! as one of his options. Biggest concern is the mileage being too high and, in his words, "not enough detail in the ad." Should he be wary or does this seem like a decent deal? In general are there things one needs to watch out for when it comes to the 3?

Rust, and rattles. Besides that they are pretty foolproof. I've got a speed3 so if someone has better help go fer it!

Mileage is not bad. Looks like a good deal for 8k, especially if that's what he wants... Worth a look, at least!

Looks pretty clean, though I'd argue down the price. Seems a little high for an '06.
Rust sometimes becomes an issue for you weird people who get snow, but aside from that, I haven't heard of any major issues.

Rust.
Oh, and don't forget rust.
And while you're at it, do check for rust.
Did I mention rust? Yea, rust.

Mazdas are the easiest cars to work on. And with a 5 speed it will be pretty strong. I'd say go for it. If the engine needs work $500 and some beer will get it in over a weekend.
